Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, part of CommonSpirit Health, is a full-service acute care provider comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital–Interquest. Penrose Hospital anchors the system just east of us on North Nevada Avenue, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care, and physical rehabilitation. Together these campuses employ thousands of physicians, nurses, technicians, and support professionals across southern Colorado — and for many of them, Garrett Fillmore is a commute measured in minutes.

Children’s Hospital Colorado operates a full pediatric hospital and network of specialty care locations in Colorado Springs, bringing nationally ranked children’s healthcare to the Pikes Peak region. The organization employs pediatric physicians, nurses, therapists, researchers, and support staff across clinical and administrative roles. Its presence has significantly expanded access to specialized pediatric care for families throughout southern Colorado.

Colorado Springs School District 11 serves central and west Colorado Springs — including the neighborhoods surrounding Garrett Fillmore — with programs spanning preschool through high school. As one of the region’s largest employers, D11 supports thousands of teachers, administrators, bus drivers, food service workers, and support staff. We’re proud to extend our program to the educators shaping students right here in our own attendance area.

University of Colorado Colorado Springs is a comprehensive public research university offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with particular strength in nursing, health sciences, engineering, and cybersecurity. UCCS employs faculty, researchers, administrators, and staff across its campus just northeast of downtown. The university is a major driver of workforce development and economic growth throughout the Pikes Peak region.

Our Preferred Employer Program extends to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the Colorado Springs Fire Department, and other qualifying local first responder agencies. These are the men and women who answer the call at every hour — patrol officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and the support personnel behind them. We are grateful for your service and proud to welcome you home to a community that appreciates what you do.

Our program welcomes U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs employees throughout the Colorado Springs area, including the team at the PFC Floyd K. Lindstrom VA Clinic on Centennial Boulevard — barely a mile from our front door. Part of the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, the clinic delivers primary care, mental health services, specialty care, and veterans benefits support to the region’s substantial veteran population. We’re honored to serve the people who serve those who served.
